About
Al-Alsun Center for Translation and Training at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Suez Canal University is the first accredited center with a certified certificate from Suez Canal University. It is also the first center to teach a variety of foreign languages, offer professional training, and provide translation, proofreading, and technical review services.
Vision
The center aspires to be a destination for every student and institution that seeks development inside and outside Egypt either in the self-development field, the skills that enhance the individual’s efficiency, the institution in the labor market, the field of teaching a variety of foreign languages, the translation of one of the official documents, or the need of proofreading and technical review of any required documents. We work to build a comprehensive center in training, language, and translation, nationally and internationally.
Goals:
- The center seeks to offer superior and quality services by using the latest methods of training, teaching, and continuous search of everything new in the world.
- No doubt that mastering foreign languages in our time is necessary not a luxury or limited to specific fields as it was before. Therefore, the center develops the four language skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening, and reaches the best results that are aligned with the current era. We do evaluation exams to determine the levels in a variety of foreign language exams.
The center offers:
- Language courses: The center offers a range of specialized courses in a variety of foreign languages: English, French, German, Chinese, Russian, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, and Korean.
- Labor market: Developing courses to improve the listening and speaking skills required in the labor market, education, scholarship, travel, discussing the master’s and Ph.D. thesis, or training in general for various purposes.
- The success of large institutions and the entire community starts with the individuals. Therefore, we offer training courses in developing practical and life skills and human development courses.
- Translation courses: The center offers general and specialized translation courses in some languages.
- The center offers legal translation through:
- Official translation (certificates, documents, and official documents) that is certified and documented by the ministry of foreign affairs.
- commercial and legal translation (conventions, memorandums of understanding, contracts, and others).
- Scientific translation (research summaries, theses, articles, and others).
- Literary translation (poetry, prose, and criticism).
- Translating books in various fields.
- Translation and interpretation services for large national and international institutions in all the required fields.
- In addition to the proofreading service for scientific theses and research in a variety of foreign languages and the technical review in various fields and documents.
